OUR BELIEFS
Hebrews 13:9, we are not carried by “divers and strange doctrine”. On the premise of the scripture ,we enumerate below major doctrines upon which our faith and ministry firmly stands.
GOD
The one true God, the 1 AM; who has revealed himself fully and finally in Jesus Christ, John 1:18, Heb. 1:13.
JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ.The diety of the Lord Jesus Christ, His pre-Incarnate existence, Virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary life, work and death on the cross, bodily resurrection and exaltation to the right hand of God Matt. 16:13-16
THE BIBLE
The totality of the Bible both old and new testament as God inspired and infallible word 2 Tim. 3:15-17.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The baptism in the Holy Spirit with initial evidence of speaking in tongues. Acts 2:1-4.
TRINITY
There is one God,eternally existent in three persons: Father,Son and Holy Spirit. These are co- equal and co-eternal. Gen 1:26; 1 John 5:7
SALVATION
The salvation and redemption of man by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, received through repentance from sinful works unto new birth. It is a gift from God,not of good works or human effort (Eph 2:8-9, Titus 2:12).
BAPTISM
We believe that Christ has established various ministries within His Church, including apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. We also affirm the ongoing work of the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit as revealed in the New Testament.
THE CHURCH
The church, her mission and ministry. Eph. 1:22-23.
RETURN OF CHRIST
The blessed hope of resurrection and eternity with Christ for all true believers. 1 Thess. 4:16-17. The visible bodily return of Jesus Christ with His saints to reign in the earth for 1,000 yrs. Rev. 19:11-15.
NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH
Rev. 21:1-5.
